IGS has over thirty (30) years of experience and know-how in the design and manufacture of pressure swing adsorption
(PSA) plants. We are leaders in this technology and have the flexibility to provide the right design for the required
application, including:
Refining/CPI/Oil & Gas: NITROSWING® systems are used for blanketing,
purging and inerting concentrations of oxygen to prevent potential explosions.
Food/Processing & Packaging: NITROSWING® systems are used to improve
processing of food and food by-products adversely affected by contact with
oxygen or moisture.
Material Handling/Storage: The NITROSWING® system process uses gaseous
nitrogen to displace the oxygen in sealed packages and, in turn, prevents the
growth of bacteria.
Metallurgical: NITROSWING® systems are frequently used to prevent oxidation
of metal surface and minimize dross generation.
Plastics: Plastics manufacturers often use nitrogen as a gas assist to improve
the quality of injection molded products and increase design flexibility.
Pharmaceutical: NITROSWING® systems are used to displace oxygen in many
pharmaceutical processes because materials may be sensitive and unstable
in an oxygen environment.
Other Miscellaneous: NITROSWING® systems are used to rid environments of
bugs and microorganisms as well as for blanketing in many military
applications.
